Video Games are just like any other form of Media, its like saying "Oh noes little Timmy read book <X> or watched movie <Y> so he shot up his school." It is complete Bollocks.
People who play video games have a better understand of the difference between games and reality more than those who dont.

The child was probably raised without a proper definition of reality, and when those parents let their unmature child play MATURE games, they try to make the Video Game companies take the downfall of their poor parenting skills.
