do you think that Video Games lead to violence?

Many people play video games with violence and don't go out shooting real people. If someone goes out killing people because of a game then there was some type of violent behavior that would of came out sooner or later.

So no Video Games don't lead to violence.

I could rant about this forever and how every person who says "Video games are the downfall of all society" need to die a very painful death involving badgers.

Video Games are just like any other form of Media, its like saying "Oh noes little Timmy read book <X> or watched movie <Y> so he shot up his school." It is complete Bollocks.

People who play video games have a better understand of the difference between games and reality more than those who dont.

And people who say games like manhunt (which game play blows), or GTA are teaching us to kill people are fucking pants on head retarded. I see no corilation between pressing X and pulling the trigger on a gun,

I personally do not believe that video games lead to violence in real life, except for those cases in which someone is Uh, whats the word.... Unstable? Yeah, thats it. Only in that case I believe that something might happen. Imma have to agree w/ Sheep Toucher and Charlie.

I believe it is caused long before the person plays the game, and is actually a problem with the way the parents raised their child. The child was probably raised without a proper definition of reality, and when those parents let their unmature child play MATURE games, they try to make the Video Game companies take the downfall of their poor parenting skills. GG parents.
